I am a Registered Social Worker & Psychotherapist (RSW# 830664) and have enjoyed working as a Social Worker in the mental health field since 1995 and have been privileged to have worked with amazing clients from all walks of life.

Wanting to fulfill my dream of having a home-based counselling practice, I returned to school, sought additional training opportunities, and obtained my MA in Counselling Psychology. I continue to educate myself through training and reading, as there is always more to learn!

Since 2018, I have provided in-person and online counselling to individuals, couples, and families.

My approach to counselling comes from a strengths perspective. I see clients' positive qualities and empower them to work through difficulties using their unique skills and resources

Some of the therapeutic modalities I use are:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Compassion-Focused Therapy

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)

Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT)

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I welcome all forms of cultural diversity and am an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.
